This week is the tenth anniversary of when People Smartz was registered as a company.
It’s been an exciting ride, in that time People Smartz has assisted just under 1100 businesses of various sizes with the management of their most valuable resource – their people!
We are very proud of our achievements and are very proud of our long-term clients – of the 10 clients we worked with in our first year – 4 are still with us as active client’s today. 2 others contact People Smartz occasionally when they need assistance. I do not believe there are many companies who could claim that sort of client retention after 10 years!
People Smartz begun in the midst of the Global Financial Crisis and in the middle of the introduction of the Fair Work Act. Businesses were struggling not only with changes to legislation but with survival. If there was ever a time not to start a business – it was then!
But we not only started we thrived. The introduction of the Fair Work Act by the Labor Government meant that small to medium sized businesses needed assistance to implement and understand what was, at times, a confusing set of legislation, awards and regulations (and it remains this way today).
Within a few short years, People Smartz has won awards and been named as State Finalists in the Telstra Business Awards.
But the focus of our business has always been building the capability of people within small to medium sized businesses. We have not forgotten this. While a good part of the work we do is compliance based, we have gathered a reputation as the company as the “people problem solvers”.
Today People Smartz continues to grow and develop, our range of services and products are industry leading and include some of the best tools in Human Resources – making professional Human Resources services usually only available to the “big-end” of town available to small and medium sized businesses.
As I said – it has been an exciting ride!
And now for the next 10 years……
